Portfolio

A combined expertise to serve your project

  • Trained as an Energy Renovation Consultant by the recognized organization La Solive (with the congratulations of the jury), I have developed a deep technical background in energy renovations (building thermal performance, technical interdependancies, renovation subsidies, etc.). This is a complex field, and individuals can easily make mistakes… or be misled by "eco-delinquents" (e.g., scandals involving €1 insulation offers, €1 heat pumps, with 50% of construction sites checked by the DGCCRF revealing anomalies in 2023, etc.).

I support my clients in renovating effectively to truly enhance their comfort and the energy performance rating (DPE) of their homes. I also assist them with administrative procedures for aid applications (as an administrative representative for ANAH).

For specific renovations, I collaborate with a partner "habitologist" to make choices appropriate for old building materials (rammed earth, adobe, etc.) if needed.

  • Specialized in space optimization within the H.O.M.E (Habitat and Optimize my Space) interior architecture school based in Bordeaux, I place human needs and functionality at the core of my approach. I have developed a comprehensive arsenal of techniques to enhance every cubic centimeter of your home.

I pay great attention to the needs of current and future inhabitants, to proper proportions (human-centered), to ergonomics and to circulation. For instance, I always revisit the question of "for whom?" in order to arrange living spaces meaningfully for the individuals (or profiles of individuals) who will inhabit them.

I am committed to proposing interiors that are pleasant (i.e., ergonomic, bioclimatic, and aligned with neuro-architecture), easy to live in, and fulfilling all desired functions (i.e., functional and optimized).

The Commitment to Renovating Built Heritage

The duality that drives me is the desire to create the “kalos kagathos” in Ancient Greek (literally “beautiful and good”). My quest is to create spaces that reconnect us to beauty and provide a sensitive experience of well-being.

Too few renovation projects address the issue of thermal comfort, often relegated to a secondary concern behind aesthetics. We also too often underestimate the real estate value added by “green value’” a growing phenomenon and well-documented.

Besides, many residences remain awkwardly designed, suffering from wasted space or poor ergonomics, even after costly renovations.

I am committed to designing renovations that address these challenges. It is important to me to blend art and technique, aesthetics and energy efficiency. I hold qualifications in both domains for a combined approach.

Additionally, I am dedicated to taking the time to listen to needs, providing tailored and relevant solutions for all co-habitants.

From my previous profession as a manager in performance consulting, I have retained a set of skills beneficial to my current work: active listening, agile methodology, project management, risk management, owner assistance, financial engineering, administrative management, rigor, and efficiency. This expertise helps to secure projects that often provoke stress and anxiety for the uninitiated.

I wish for us to succeed together in making your project a performance-driven renovation, relevant to your lifestyle, beautiful and suiting your taste.

The “green value”: the new real estate criterion

Since the 2020s, we have witnessed the emergence of the concept of “green value” in real estate. What is it?

It is the increase in the value of properties that possess superior thermal and ecological qualities: winter comfort, summer comfort, energy savings, reduced environmental impact, and the authorization for rental (in France, there is a ban on renting thermally inefficient properties by 2025 and 2028).

According to the French Notaries' Association, an apartment with an energy label A and B can be valued up to 16% more than an analogous property with a label D!

Furthermore, a house with an energy class G can see a depreciation of up to 19% in comparison to its equivalent in class D (2021 study, further details available elsewhere).

The "green value" is steadily increasing over the years, as the market becomes increasingly sensitive to these criteria.

The main strengths of the Passerelle agency are:

  • I combine the two skills of energy renovation and space optimization to address renovations in a comprehensive manner.

I also hold the ANAH authorization to serve as an administrative representative, assisting you with your applications for financial subsidies.

  • Having personally achieved renovations tasks (electricity, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, etc.) on real estate investments, I provide realistic technical proposals, meticulously scrutinizing craftsmen's quotes and conducting project oversight with an expert eye.

Furthermore, having worked for 12 years in business transformation, project management and risk management have become second nature to me to secure my clients projects.

  • Recognized by insurers for the quality of my services, I operate with a ten-year warranty. This protects you against the risk of being advised on unsuitable work.

  • I bring a network of trusted partners to my clients (artisans, furniture suppliers, habitologists, etc.) with negotiated rates. I prefer to work with artisans certified RGE (Recognized Guarantors of the Environment) as well as with the custom carpentry workshop of Emmaüs, which promotes professional integration.

  • On large-scale or remote projects (such as buildings or others), I collaborate with peers who share the same education as I do, along with the same values and methodologies.

  • I help non-French speakers with their renovation projects in France: technical jargon, local standards, regulation, etc. I will help you make headway in the French bureaucratic landscape
